Unverferth 225
Features
- The double basket design features an aggressive lead roller with scalloped and pitched blades to penetrate and shatter the soil
- The passive trailing roller features scalloped blades that run perpendicular to the ground to condition and finish the soil
- 1/4" thick high-carbon steel blades cut through the soil like a steaknife to provide ideal soil conditioning action
- This unique blade combination thoroughly mulches, agitates and mixes the top 2-3 inches of soil for optimum residue and chemical incorporation
- Rollers can be operated in a free-float position for closely following the ground contour, or can be locked into one of five positions to be either more or less aggressive depending on your needs
- Exclusive basket assembly design allows them to be easily reversed for extra firming action in lighter soils
- Bearing choice of heavy-duty shielded bearing for long life in high-residue conditions (model 225 -select sizes) or flanged, four-bolt bearing for high-speed, high-residue, high-acreage applications (model 1225)
- In addition to soil conditioning behind a disk, stalk chopping in the fall with the Rolling Harrow implement helps distribute residue and speed its decay
- Choice of leveling bar in front of the rollers provides added smoothing and a more even surface for the most effective tillage action possible
- Leveling bar can be pinned up for high-residue situations and available with choice of:
- Diagonal round tooth with heat-treated 3/4" x 11" teeth
- Spike-tooth with forged 3/4" x 11" diamond-shaped teeth
- Coil-tine with 3/8" x 17" long spring tine
- Minimal weight is added to the primary tillage implement lengthening its life
- Extendible-length tongue for ideal turning
- 22" of ground transport clearance
- Use just one set of tractor hydraulic outlets
- All hydraulic hoses are routed through mainframe and include end caps for longer life
- Standard jack for parking and storing the implement
- Available in 12' - 63' working widths depending on model
